Pros

Potential for high commission based salary

Cons

you are expected to work 6 days a week at 12 plus hours a day, plus after hour get-togethers weekly. Doesn't work when you have a family to take care of unless you really don't want to see them. I worked for two days and they insisted they wanted me to go into the management training because I'm really good. But then I was informed about how I was expected to work constantly. I declined. Subsequently, it took almost 3 months to get my paycheck for working those measly two days. I kept calling to the point, they finally blocked my number, because they kept putting me off or telling me they mailed it... After finally calling from a bogus phone number and calling them out on the fact they intentionally no longer answer my calls, they told me I could come pick up my check. I got there the next morning, only for them to HAVE MOVED LOCATIONS and didn't bother informing me. And of course, they had already blocked my number. I had to get someone else to call them to get their office location. This is the biggest sham and unfortunately their entire marketing scheme is geared to low income individuals on behalf of our largest local internet provider. And that is what your commission is based off of... harassing folks at H-E-B and other grocery stores.

Pros

Decent People. At least willing to talk to you.

Cons

Everything Else. This is also called Atomic Austin, A to Z Consulting, used to be CMX Austin. The hours are from 10 - 7 PM. Start at 8 AM if you are promoted. There is no work life balance. The pay is purely commission and only if the customer actually install/use it. You will be standing at the front of an HEB trying to sell Spectrum Internet or whatever it is to people that walk in. If you are willing to do it, be my guest, but it is very frustrating. The training they give is BS. It's definitely not promoting intelligent ways of purchasing for the customer. How the heck is bothering people before they are about to shop for groceries the best way to promote great customer experience??

Pros

There are no pros to working here.

Cons

You have to stand the whole day and sell products in HEB, etc. People are ignoring you and you are trying to get their attention. Some people are good, some are rude. You have to arrive at a given place at 10 AM and have a meeting for 2 hours (FOR WHICH YOU ARE NOT PAID). Then you go to the specified places and do what I have mentioned above ( 6 hours for which you are paid). And after that, you go to a place which they have mentioned to meet and discuss the sales what you were able to make or the number of people you have approached successfully in a day (FOR WHICH YOU ARE NOT PAID). It's like you are working for 10 hours and being paid for 6 hours. As an intern, my pay rate was 60$/ day or you can say $60 for 10 hours. You have an option between a sales commission and per month pay. If your sales commission is more than the monthly payment you get that. Overall if you don't enjoy the sales job, this is definitely not what you want to do. I did the job only for a day and the day was so bad that I never returned and did not even ask for a day work payment. Nor the firm did pay it on their own.
