• Witnessed racist, homophobic, and sexist comments that went unchallenged. Comments came from exec members and general team members.
• Don’t care about the mental health of staff, exec have been openly heard saying on company calls “but how much should we really care”.
• They manage people out of the business if they don’t fit their mould - diversity and inclusion doesn’t exist.
• People are pressured to work outside their hours on a regular basis - this is labelled as being a team player and is expected.
• The new CEO (Mark Adams) hired in a load of his mates and promoted them to the executive leadership team within a matter of months.
• There is no development plan for staff to grow in their careers. They would rather replace 1 senior and experienced person with 2 juniors or work experience staff that they can “mould” and pay minimum wage.
• Once you hand in your notice you are blanked by the entire exec team, no matter how many years you have worked for the company, even if you leave on amicable terms. Very petty, unprofessional and childish.
• During the BLM protests the CFO sent the whole company an email stating that Attraqt didn’t feel comfortable saying it was anti-racist.
• Products are often sold that haven’t been developed or tested.
• The company direction changes all the time without warning and never seems well considered or planned.
• The product has fallen far behind competition, there are newer and better solutions on the market.
• Old fashioned and toxic culture.
• CEO periodically holds individual team calls for people to ask him questions but everybody MUST ask him something - so you have to make something up even if you don’t want to. You have to provide your questions ahead of time so that he can script a response before the call. You’re not allowed to ask questions on the call and it’s basically an hour for him to talk at you, choose the questions he wants to read out and read his prepared answers.
