Pros
The files are very interesting and there is a wide variety. When they hire you, you take an interest assessment, so they try to send you jobs that you will enjoy. They pay better than any other transcription company I've worked for -- $65 per audio hour, which for me translates to around $15/hour (of course, there are a lot of variables that affect this). Questions are answered quickly, and the production team is very friendly. The platform is very user-friendly.
Cons
Pay is held for a week. So you submit your invoice on a Friday, and the checks are mailed out on a Wednesday, about a week and a half later. Thus it is about two weeks before you actually receive payment. They are switching to direct deposit soon, which will help a little. There are a lot of times that work is scarce. I can go several weeks without a job.
