Pros

Client's are nice. Work with animals.

Cons

Owners are not groomers. Unreasonable expectations. Profit over safety. Owners confrontational and raise voice if you disagree with them. Promised schedule changed after gave notice to prior employer. Micro-management. Owners paranoid that employee's will steal from them or sue them which makes everything awkward.

Pros

I love my clients and the views were nice. 35% commission to start with on high ticket values plus tips generally equals 25-30 per hour on a 10 hour 4 day a week schedule.

Cons

The routes are widespread. Like 30-60s between appointments and you are not compensated for drive time. Vans get hot on the inside during summer definitely have a thermometer to make sure it’s safe to work for you and the pets.
