Pros
Current President gives 1/2 days in summer on Fridays and SUPER Sick policy....can take off for pretty much anyone in family for appointments or just general - so if you don't want to use vacation days up...just use the sick family/sick policy. Nobody gets in trouble for abusing it.
Cons
Dirty management took away our accrued vacation this year and gave us a new use it or loose it policy. They planned for over 6 months to eliminate accrued time but, didn't tell anyone to start using it. Some employees with hundreds of hours wiped clean. Wasn't told until after policy in place. Attempted to say had to because of finances and staff council - truth is ....they have less than 5% drop in return and over $140 million in endowment money - could have paid out employees...instead screwed them over during COVID. Plus, got PPP money ... Staff just waiting for next item to be taken from us...401k, pay more for benefits, ANOTHER year without a pay increase...while Senior Leadership gets bonuses.
