Pros

None, dissatisfied with my experience

Cons

Training is only available to sales staff, they don't offer training, development or progression opportunities to anyone outside of the sales teams. Young inexperienced managers and lack of communication from management. Socials are always on a Thursday, no good for people with families Almost no company benefits (pension due to auto enrollment and 25 days holiday, if you call those benefits). No pay structure. No flexibility in working hours (9-6) you"ll have to book holiday if you can't get a saturday/evening appointment. Huge staff turn over. Clicky, unprofessional.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback. We’re disappointed that you feel you had a negative experience working for us and we’d like to take the time to address the points you’ve raised. Austin Fraser invests heavily in training for all our staff. Some of our training is delivered internally by our L&D team whilst some is delivered externally by accredited facilitators. We fund external qualifications and provide technical training for those we can’t provide in house training for. We do this through a network of accredited training partners including CIPD, CIMA, Henley Business School, Apple and the Chartered Institute of Marketing. You’ve highlighted that this might not be well known, so going forward we’ll do more to shout about this across the business. Our managers are all promoted once they have proved themselves to be capable against our clear, transparent and thorough guidelines. They are then offered high quality in-house and external training from our first line management to senior management putting them in the best possible position to motivate and inspire their teams. Their development includes coaching and mentoring with our in house L&D team as well as our CDO. When you join as a new member of the Austin Fraser team, we explain all the benefits available to you including our cycle to work scheme, team and individual incentives, promotion benefits and local discounts. When our staff are promoted we explain each new package and what that means for each individual At Austin Fraser we love a good social. We recognise we have people from all ages and backgrounds. Staff socials are not compulsory to attend and we hold family days on weekends to offer more of a range of events to accommodate for those who may not fancy a night out. We carefully consider people’s personal circumstances and a number of our staff do work flexibly to fit around their home lives. This is assessed against the role they are doing and the needs of the individual. We’re constantly striving to improve as a business so please do contact us on 0118 959 6689 if you want to discuss this further so we can continue creating a great working environment.

Pros

Joining Austin Fraser has been the highlight of my professional journey in 2024. I can confidently say it's been the biggest blessing. From day one, it's evident that this company values training and development like no other. The emphasis on personal and professional growth is incredible, and it's genuinely refreshing to be part of a team that wants you to succeed from the moment you walk through the door. What sets Austin Fraser apart is not just the emphasis on training, but the culture of support and camaraderie that permeates every aspect of the workplace. My coworkers and team leaders are not only incredibly knowledgeable but also incredibly kind and supportive. They're always willing to lend a helping hand or answer questions, fostering an environment where collaboration thrives. The open office environment further enhances this culture of collaboration. It's a space where ideas flow freely, and everyone's voice is heard. The energy in the office is infectious, and it's inspiring to see how much can be accomplished when we come together as a team.

Cons
