Pros

Reasonable to good salary Reasonable to good advancement Reasonable amount of employees who were adept in their area of expertise,

Cons

Communication was poor within the management structure, and from the management structure to the employees. The company was top-heavy. At the time I left, in a staff of about 40-50 people, we had a CFO, a President, and 5 Vice Presidents. Because communication was poor, employees were more concerned with taking steps to ensure they had covered themselves from blame, rather than actually performing the duties they were assigned. C-level management had a tendency to over-reach on projects that were not sufficiently staffed or planned for. Often the infrastructure for these projects was improvised after the project had started, rather than being set up beforehand. Employees were rarely congratulated on good work, but often reprimanded for mistakes.
