Pros
Staff have mostly been nice, hard working, and competent. My colleagues have developed strong relationships through shared experiences of navigating challenging management dynamics.
Cons
In my opinion, senior management is entirely unqualified, emotionally unstable, and extremely toxic. They tend to bring others down while deluding themselves with distorted views of their own importance, likely to boost their own self-esteem. Furthermore, the CEO appears to have minimal understanding of financial markets, as he rarely, if ever, makes meaningful contributions to the company's operations or helps solve technical challenges. The CTO isn't much better either. In my view, senior management needs a complete overhaul.
Beyond this toxic work culture, the job itself feels unrewarding due to the questionable nature of the company's practices. Whether it's packaging derivatives to imitate the coupon payments of real bonds or presenting themselves as a cutting-edge fintech firm to attract investors, they seem unconcerned with providing a high-quality service as long as senior management continues to collect their substantial salaries.
