Pros

Half decent cause to work for - you leave working knowing you have done something good. Training is above average and the team clearly know their stuff.

Cons

Staff turnover rate is high. This is because of poor pay - even for the industry - and a seeming unwillingness to address core issues within the organisation. Current staff members are very frustrated by a progression system that seems to reward the wrong type of people. Bullying in the organisation is sadly common and higher ups either do not care or do not have the time to assist you. Staff often take time out with stress because there is little support and they feel unable to cope. I have also known some members of my team to receive food bank donations while working here.

Pros

Working with the service users

Cons

The head office /executive team have no thought for staff, they don't care about staff welfare, incidents are covered up and excused by senior managers who say "its part of the job" - the company will wriggle/lie /cheat /do anything to not get caught out , when a staff ,member raises a grievance the company will twist everything that is said to fit their own narrative , there is a culture of " that didn't happen" Mangers are encouraged to lie about events , and when staff members have raised issues they have been bullied, pressured and consistently harrassed until they believe it was their fault - I IMPLORE ANYONE WHO IS CONSIDERING JOINING TO THINK TWICE - a serious clearcut of managers is needed and replaced with new forward thinking team who will look after its staff.
