Pros

When I started I was encouraged and trusted to follow my ambitions to help develop processes for an upcoming department. Leadership, although on different pages at times, saw the mutual goal and was able to work together to ensure fair and just protocols that served the best customer experience. Dynamic was that of a strong team moving through trial and errors. This isn’t to say there weren’t disagreements but they were usually worked though together. Truly a great stepping stone in my career and will remain one of my favorite jobs.

Cons

Toward the end of my experience and after much senior leadership change, processes were quickly redirected for more internal reasons that would ultimately no longer deliver best customer experience and allow there to be a lack of accountability to those creating hostile work environments. “Fighting the good fight” for customers and basic ethics was no longer welcome but rather made you a target. At my level of management, I felt I was used as a puppet to deliver the bad news to team members with no explanation and used as a shield for upper Management to not have to take the heat. I was no longer being given tools to develop and learn, I was now part of the problem. I ultimately left because I no longer felt valued and wanted to move on from the internal toxicity that bled from top down.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective, and for the contributions you made during your time with Auto Approve. We’re glad to hear that some of your experiences reflected strong collaboration, trust, and a shared focus on building processes that supported both the team and the customer; that foundation remains core to who we are. We also appreciate your feedback around leadership transitions and evolving priorities. Creating a professional, respectful, and accountable culture is a priority, and concerns around toxicity or hostile environments are not aligned with our expectations and not tolerated at any level. As our business has grown, we’ve made adjustments to better support scale, consistency, and long-term sustainability, while continuing to deliver a top-notch customer experience. We understand that periods of change can be challenging, particularly at the management level. We will continue to remain focused on strengthening communication, accountability, and leadership development across the organization. We appreciate your impact here and wish you continued success in your career.

We’re glad to hear that the fast pace, leadership, and earning potential have helped to make this a great place to work for you. You’re 100% right, being open to feedback and willing to adapt is key in an environment like ours. That can be challenging for some, but we're very glad to hear that you thrive in it. We also appreciate the suggestion around holding more daily sales contests and will continue looking for ways to keep things engaging and motivating on a day-to-day & month-to-month basis. Best of luck in 2026, we hope you're teed up for success and another strong year with Auto Approve! - Andrew Katz, Auto Approve Head of Human Resources

Pros

Remote is the only pro.

Cons

Revolving door of employees. Those that stick around ling enough get promoted, not based on skill. If you can manage the lack of support, can handle half of your loans expiring for lack of a real process to fund. The company claims to put people first and lead with empathy. This may have been who they were in 2016 but it is not who they are in 2026. There is nothing good I can say. Youll read this review and make your own decision. Youll likely thinking this must be someone who couldnt cut it, someone who lacks a back bone and how youll be different and youll be better. Thats what I did too. Its ok. This company does not want skilled employees, they want yes men. They want constant stress, pressure because they are grasping at straws. They used to have a efficient process to fund loans. Not anymore. Youll recieve the red carpet when you start however do not be fooled. The managers will micromanage you to death! If you try to set boundaries or establish professionalism it will not happen. You can be top 5 performer as I was and youll still be reminded more than a dozen times per day on what your doing wrong or not doing enough. The LC is doing 2 departments job with 0 support, constant delays and excusses. If you are a script reader you might do well here.

We appreciate you sharing your feedback and are sorry to hear that you feel that we are missing the mark. We take comments around process efficiency, support, and leadership seriously, and continuously assess how we can improve operational execution and communication. Putting people first is a core part of who we are and an important value of ours at Auto Approve. While we respect your perspective, we may not see eye to eye on some of the details. Advancement at Auto Approve is based on measurable results, leadership capability, and consistency; most of our leaders started in frontline roles and earned their positions through performance and accountability. Auto Approve operates in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment that rewards resilience, coachability, and results. Like many sales roles, the Loan Consultant position naturally attracts individuals who thrive under structure and clear expectations, while others may decide it is not aligned with their preferred work style. While experiences vary, we are proud of the many team members who build long-term careers here and succeed in a results-oriented environment. As a start up recognizing hyper growth and scaling, on average, our active employees have >2 years tenure, with Loan Consultants at 1.33 years of average tenure. I sincerely hope that you continue as a top performer, and I would love the opportunity to talk through your concerns with you 1x1. Do not hesitate to reach out.
