Pros

Good culture and benefits are ok. Some coworkers where genuinely good people at some points.

Cons

There's a underlying cool group vibe going on and seems outright ridiculous at times. Doesn't seem genuine and can be unprofessional. Maintenance projects should be assessed differently, man power, pay, vendors, realistic goals etc. They dont seem to have much experience in normal hotels operations. Autocamp is there specialized niche. Fieldstation needs to be worked on through marketing and proper operations.

Pros

- Pay was decent - My manager was supportive and helpful (they were way overworked, and have since left)

Cons

- Basecamp employees are afforded opportunities/benefits not given to Property employees. E.g., Property employees accrue up to 5 days of PTO their first year (that's inclusive of sick time), while Basecamp employees get Unlimited PTO right out the gate. - They expect loyalty while offering none of their own. They seem to let a few people go every year around December, regardless of job performance. - They advertise all roles with generic phrases like "competitive benefits, generous PTO" that don't reflect reality. (see above: 5 days of PTO your first year if you work on Property) - No 401(k) match - Company values are performative - CEO is coddled and out of touch
