In my experience, spa management was characterized by favoritism, inconsistent application of standards, unequal professional opportunities, and communication that frequently relied on gossip or unverified information. I repeatedly raised concerns regarding these issues. Although there were periods when the workplace was enjoyable and I valued many of my colleagues and guests tremendously, I would strongly encourage prospective employees to ask detailed questions about management style, workload distribution, conflict resolution, and how employee concerns are investigated.”
