Pros

I’ve worked at ABD for a handful of years now for a few reasons: - Good compensation and healthcare/401K package - Nice co-workers and modern office. Office is right off of the CTA blue line to make it an easy commute into the city. - Projects are meaningful and really make an impact within the organization and for our clients. Because the company is smaller in size, you are able to have more responsibility - Efforts and results are recognized by managers. The company also recognizes employees by giving out awards at their Client Meeting! - Work hard/play hard environment: Everyone is working at home currently due to the pandemic, but when we are in the office employees get to create their own customized birthday cake and everyone sings, various parties/celebrations are held throughout the year, company treats everyone to lunch about once a month, and they give back to the community by participating in charity walks, serving meals to the homeless, and more. After hours, we also enjoy beverages! - We are used to being in the office every day, but the company really helped us adapt to a work-at-home environment during the pandemic by implementing a phone app for us to make calls, use of Microsoft Teams (amazing collaboration tool for our team!), and more.

Cons

Busy environment with little down-time, but it’s good if you like to keep busy and are always ready to tackle the next project.

Pros

I have been with the company for about 8 years now, and my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. During my tenure, I've had the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally, thanks to the company's supportive environment and strong emphasis on employee development. Here are some of the pros that make this company a great place to work: 1. New employees receive formal classroom training for two weeks, followed by exercises and mentoring, ensuring a smooth onboarding process. 2. They have comprehensive internal training sessions that are available on selected Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. 3. Management helps with a clear 30/60/90 Day Goal lists for new employees to understand their role responsibilities and expectations. 4. They have quarterly meetings where each department head gets to present their achievements for the past quarter and talk about goals for the next one. 5. Significant advancement opportunities, with many employees starting at entry-level positions and moving up. 6. Rigorous deployment process ensures high-quality production releases with multiple levels of testing. 7. Exceptional employee benefits, including 100% employer-paid insurance premiums which is really good to have. 8. Low employee turnover with many surpassing the 5 and 10-year mark, indicating high job satisfaction and company loyalty. Overall, the company's commitment to employee growth and satisfaction makes it a fantastic place to build a career.

Cons

It would be nice to have employer-provided insurance coverage extended to spouses and families. However, this is a minor concern considering the excellent benefits already provided.

Pros

remote work 3 days a week

Cons

Very unorganized, leadership has no clue of how to treat customers and run a business. Updates are launched to clients without fully testing and creates problems, Lack of training to associates. Nobody has a clear vision of job responsibilities. Owner mirco-manages everything and everyone. Disorganized and high turnover. No advancement opportunities. High cost of benefits on employees. Long hours.
