Pros

All the U.S. executives are top notch. Very rehearsed in their profession and are able to problem solve quick and efficiently. Desks and monitors are very nice and the quality of the product is actually pretty top notch. Time off is very generous and management understands certain situations of life and try to work around those problems

Cons

The base pay is pretty poor with an ever changing commission structure that sometimes is not even honored causing hundreds in commission errors that go uncorrected even though it is clearly listed what the right pay out should be. This company honestly has TONS of potential, but the CEO of the company seems to want to make every single tiny decision in the company a lot of the times without caring about any opinions by any of the EXECUTIVES that he has hired. They are unable to make any type of decision without an ok from the CEO that usually involves a lot of time and effort which realistically causes more harm than good. He lives in Sweden and makes all decisions from afar without knowing the true impact of the decisions he makes. It's really sad however because the people at the company are really great workers and do everything they can to help the company progress. It's kind of like having a controlling dictator for a boss......

Thanks for the compliments for the U.S. Executive team. It sounds like we are getting many things right! Our CEO's mandate is to always pay earned commissions and sometimes we have paid even more than was owed. Commission mistakes infrequently can occur, after all, we are a highly transactional business. However, as we uncover errors we seek to understand what went wrong and then we systematically address them so they don't reoccur. In high-growth and emerging startups the CEO is the easiest person to blame and rarely the actual problem. We will continue to seek to improve our employee offering and appreciate your honest review.

Pros

One of the many things I like about Automile is that the hard work and effort you put in is recognized and rewarded. You are a part of a business where you are a key to the success of its future here at Automile. We have snacks, excellent health benefits, coworkers that are second to none and a management team whose care and deep concern for your success is tangible by how they mentor and advocate for and on behalf of you to bring positive changes to fruition, and in how they guide you to see the bigger picture. The management team is always working to be your biggest ally and supporter in all things - a rare gem in the corporate world.

Cons

Every company has their own bumps - sometimes it has to do with shifting your focus and view to where the company is headed as well as learning to understand and build a team with types of people you're not use to working with. Aside from that, not many cons.

Pros

Automile is a great startup that provides a lot of diverse opportunities to prove your worth. There is a general excitement for the future and coworkers are great. Amazing PTO and Sick day policy with fully paid insurance premiums. Solid product offerings and good support structure. The people are genuinely good and leadership always makes sure you have your needs met. Schedule is flexible enough if you have things you need to do (school, medical, etc.) and they will take care of you when you take care of them. The company has quite a bit of potential for the future and has a solid foundation for long-term growth. Management provides general autonomy over smaller tasks and there is a general family-friendly culture based in trust and accountability. Provides great work environment for self-starters and those who take initiative to get things done. Product offerings are genuinely good and makes it easy to work with and troubleshoot.

Cons

As with any startup there are growing pains. Because most things are new, processes are not fully implemented. Existing product feature requests are difficult to implement because of focus on building new features. Because company is also based in Sweden sometimes answers to product questions requires waiting until following day. Product or feature releases happen on the daily but lack of product materials can make customer support challenging and can leave us guessing about how things are supposed to work. Certain administrative decisions can take a while to be put through.
