My early years were genuinely positive, but the final period saw a clear decline. Feedback lacked transparency, honesty, and fairness, with unclear and often contradictory feedback that made it difficult to understand issues, expectations or how to succeed.
Within commercial leadership, there were behaviours that felt exclusionary and, at times, sadly reflective of a dysfunctional environment. Decisions and opportunities often appeared influenced by internal alliances and cliques, leaving those outside of these circles at a disadvantage.
Additionally, there has been a huge swing to a younger workforce and the lack of experience and readiness for roles has seen poorer outcomes delivered. There is little balance.
