Management don't seem to care when you raise issues, especially if it's going to cause them an inconvenience. I raised an issue that I later found out had been raised previously years before and nothing had been done. As far as I know the issue has still not be addressed. If you get into a management position they'll look after you and help your career but if you start lower down and say you want to move up within the company they won't help. Parent company so overbearing no changes can be made without their approval so things never get better. They expect you to work above and beyond and over time a lot but there's no recognition.
