The job was interesting and I had a lot of fun doing the writing. Plus it was remote so that's always a good thing.
Cons
I couldn't get any of the programs they wanted me to download work and they wanted me to download some software so they could keep tabs on me and see my computer screen.

Pros
It was remote, which was nice Work was relatively self-explanatory but was also a double-edged sword as there was no way for questions to be answered if you hit a road block
Cons
There was no feeling of ‘management’ as leads would check in twice a week with no real understanding of the details of your work. Communication was sparse. I understand if it was an issue with time zones, but there was no work done to aid employees when they had questions. Oftentimes you’d have to wait a day to hear back. Starting salary seemed okay for part-time but finding out it was pay for full time just isn’t worth it. Hourly rates are WELL below minimum wage. NDA bars employees and ex-employees from talking about a lot of things, but I have never felt more disrespected by an employer.
