1. Bad Code Experience: The coding practices and standards followed at this company were subpar, to say the least. The codebase was riddled with inconsistencies, poorly documented functions, and an overall lack of structure. It was evident that the development team lacked the necessary expertise and attention to detail. 2. Language Barrier: During the scrum call discussions, it was extremely frustrating to witness conversations happening predominantly in Hindi or Marathi. 3. Blind Estimations: The company's approach to project estimation was unprofessional. Estimates were made without proper consideration, leading to unrealistic deadlines. 4. Strict 9 Working Hours: A strict 9-hour workday was extremely inflexible. It felt like being trapped in a robotic work environment with no room for work-life balance. 5. No Sandwich Leaves Allowed: One of the most irritating policy at this company was the complete absence of sandwich leaves. 6. Lack of Professionalism: The overall lack of professionalism within the company was deeply concerning. There was a noticeable absence of clear communication, respect for deadlines, and accountability among team members. This created an unproductive and chaotic work environment. 7. High Employee Turnover: During my time at this company, it was evident that there was a significant turnover of employees. Many talented individuals left the company, which speaks volumes about the dissatisfaction and unhappiness experienced by the staff. This constant turnover not only disrupts workflow but also raises serious concerns about the company's management and culture.
