Pros

The folks at Avion Solutions, especially Gary and Chad, are some of the nicest I've ever met. They're genuinely interested in you, your family, and your well-being from the Owner(s) to the PMs on down to the Team Leads. They exude warmth and seem to impress it upon the entire staff. They listen to your ideas and treat you like a star. I miss working for them and look forward to any opportunity to work with them again.

Cons

Avion's salaries are at market average and slightly below. I believe they do this to maintain a competitive edge in our contracting area. This was aggravating at first but they made up for it in camaraderie and esprit de corps. The benefits also bring them close to market average.

Pros

It was a great company to work for before Gary Donald and Larry Day retired. Still great environment and nice people.

Cons

The Moto use to be "Innovation that matters and experience you can trust. That's all gone now. The Company was build by military retirees that knew what was lacking in the army environment. They created solutions. Chad Donald has no military experience therefor lost focus on the company. Ten years ago I believed the company was valued at around $300,000. We created a solution that turned the company into a million dollar company within about 6 months. We were innovators. We created 3 logistic solutions that bought that value to 6 mil. Gary left the company and its been stagnate for the past 3 years. Actually my company stock lost 4k in value over the past 3 years. The heart of the company was let go three years ago. 2 out of 5 programmers remain with the company. They no longer innovate, and all the experience was pushed out the door. The experience is now aged to about 65 - 70 years.
