Pros

Good benefits - pension and health insurance. Also being able to trade extra holiday for salary reduction.

Cons

According to government equal pay reports, the company pays women 40% less than men. This not only impacts on salary but also the amount the company pays into pension schemes so does long term damage to women. I worked for this company for years when I developed breast cancer and a few months later a tumour on my pituitary gland was found. I was told in a team meeting that I had too many hospital appointments and I should work late to make up the hours. The other team members did not have to do this. I was also ridiculed in another team meeting about my speech which was impaired because of the brain tumour.
