Pros
1. Good experience of "the corporate environment". 2. Some really supportive peers to help you go along 3. Good place to start 4. "Some" of the team members are really good.
Cons
1. Extreme lack of management within the teams and no clear guidelines for employees which often leads to confusion. 2. Managers never open to new and better ideas. Prefer to stick with outdated techs. 3. Micromanagement is the biggest concern especially when tasks are not clear. So do your work and hope this is what they wanted. 4. Unrealistic expectation of task completion especially deadlines. You cannot complete a 1000m dash by running 200m and the same goes for time. 5. Some people seem to be confused by the word "top priority" especially managers. 6. Lack of top management overview of the internal workings. 7. What's work-life balance??? Overtime is pretty common but you'll be compensated. Choose your side. And get ready to be churned between the internal conflicts on the team, you won't be involved but the task you work on will be.
