No one is making money - SP1 Door Knocker Avolta Employee Review

Pros

Worked in the Raleigh office for about two months as a summer job. If you become a knocker you get an account on the Clean Energy Educators website, where you can see how all other Sp1 salespeople are doing in the company. So you don't have to go through the trouble to do that, in the three months I was with Avolta NO SP1 WORKER made more than what would average out to be a rate of $46,000 per year, with most salespeople not making into the $20,000 range. Managers rope clueless people in by telling them the job potential is making six figure salaries, which is simply not true as shown by the website performances. Morning meetings from 10-11 and shifts from 12-8 leave no time during the work week for family and friends, and the turnover rate among employees is usually less than 2 weeks. Honestly, if for some reason you still want to work for Avolta after reading some of the other reviews, your best bet is to become an Sp2 closer, but I wouldn't recommend this position either as there is no job security whatsoever.

Cons

Managers also said things that were clearly incorrect and wrong during morning meetings, with most workers not having the critical thinking skills to realize that they are being lied to (this is not a slight to the other knockers, they're some of the most hard working and respectable people I've known). Other knockers got police called on them every other day, one was punched in the face, and a minority race coworker was racially profiled by customers constantly.
