Pros

Occasional, exceptional random acts of kindness. Meals or gifts have shown up unannounced, some amounting to a significant dollar amount. Competitive PTO policy. Consultants and leadership get a Hawaii trip most years while sales stays in the office. Ability to work with great technology companies. Occasional travel opportunities. Highly diverse company with zero racism experienced. There is a strong emphasis on recognizing other cultures. Work/life is.. ok. WFH has been amazing, and they should consider becoming permanently remote.

Cons

TL;DR: Keep looking. You are not your work, and there are more companies out there that will show you the respect you deserve and pay you for your work. The company believes in fear based leadership. The company's business plan is all over the place. The sales team was not adequately trained to understand the company's strategic direction or the plans to get there. Things like this need to be in writing and readily available to the sales group. There was no documented sales process or procedure. Every deal was ad hoc, so there was never a clear path to execute a deal. Compensation is a complete mess- specifically commission. It seems to change quarter to quarter, and never to the sales team's benefit. Rarely is the sales team able to understand or forecast commission take-home. From the mental health perspective, be prepared to be micromanaged. Be prepared to be told how to do your job. Be prepared to have your grammar edited in emails. Be prepared what to say or not to say on calls (via slack, during the call.) Be prepared to waste time on prep calls with no goal or agenda. Be prepared to have repeating internal meetings that provide little or no value. I felt inadequate here, almost every day. The feeling of dread with every email, every slack, every buzz of my phone, led to immobilization and lack of action. Think twice about submitting your resume to this company. This place is not healthy, happy, or going to provide you a fulfilling work experience with upward mobility. My perception was the company lacks clear business direction, which left me feeling concerned about the longevity of the company.

Pros

The team at Axcelinno is the most caring, hardworking group of individuals I have ever worked with. They also truly care about each member of the team growing and present amazing feedback to everyone. The team is also great at making time to answer questions and ensure your success. In this role, you get to experience how a lot of different organizations work, an experience that is not found in many other roles. It allows individuals to build new relationships and foster current ones. This company truly works to deliver success not only to clients but to everyone in the organization.

Cons

There are some days with very long hours, depending on the situation/one's ability to deliver. There does not appear to be a ton of work-life balance. However, due to only working part time, it is important to note that the organization has been willing to accommodate flexibility with my schedule as I am currently finishing up a degree.

Pros

The pros were pretty surface-level aka getting to travel for company events, client dinners, and maybe the WFH flexibility (but even that got micromanaged eventually). I formed a close group of friends out of my coworkers because as they say, tragedy bonds.

Cons

There is an extremely high turnover rate here. The company has only ever had about 15 employees and we saw ~20 people quit or get fired within about 1.5 years. I'm writing this review so no one is shocked about what they're getting into. I'm sure it is the type of place that works for some people, but the majority should look elsewhere. I would consider the environment to be extremely toxic. Almost every employee I know has cried due to what management has said or done to them. They can be emotionally abusive and micromanaging. I don't know if there is an actual business plan for the future. The commission structure changes without your knowledge. At the time, there is no true incentive to work hard. Management began stealing accounts from their own team and not paying commission to "teach a lesson". Positive reinforcement will not be found. It has been said that they "don't believe in it". You will get condescending messages late into the evening/weekend about what you didn't do correctly. At one time, the team thought we could change things and brought up our concerns. They were all dismissed and we truly felt like we were being gaslighted by our own company for feeling so discouraged about something that management wouldn't admit was true.
