Cons
Where to even begin… -near constant reorganizations and changes -shifting priorities are the norm, which makes doing anything substantial nearly impossible -inherited P******o staff who create toxic and unproductive environments -no clear long term vision or strategy, especially prone to pivoting or derailing prior commitments or initiatives -lots of layoffs despite publicly acknowledging only one -every functional department outside of sales or editorial is critically understaffed -with the revolving door of quasi-layoffs, firing and voluntary exits, remaining employees workloads will balloon with no commensurate change to salary or title -cutthroat and panicked corporate culture seem to have replaced the Axios of old following the acquisition and subsequent slump of growth in key business areas -peripheral awareness that the business isn’t growing as execs were hoping, but no consequences for the leadership driving those decisions…consequences only roll downhill to the boots on the ground folks already experiencing the yo-yo of C-suite strategy
