Venture Captial Strikes Again - Anonymous employee Axonify Employee Review

While Axonify started out as the best company I've worked for, a few years back it was bought out by venture capital. Since then the culture has completely degraded. Both co-founders have left, and the majority of senior leadership has left and been replaced by American execs. - Revenue targets are set purely based on the returns the VC company bought the company hoping for, without any regard for economic climate or any plan to actually achieve those targets. The company has significantly undershot targets for the last several years despite being told we are "performing well above industry average". - No strategic direction from the board or execs; just under-supported rollouts of whatever the latest consulting trend is. People are just doing things for the sake of doing things and hoping eventually something sticks. - Development jobs are being outsourced, and formerly full-time roles are now being replaced by contract work to skirt labour laws and save money. - VC company is now slashing costs and jobs to try to achieve unrealistic returns, leaving employees with not enough resources to be effective
