Pros
Flexible hours if you have a good manager
Cons
My overall experience working here has been very disappointing. The company prioritises sales over staff wellbeing, and employees often feel like commodities rather than valued team members. Hours are frequently cut, and managers seem more focused on securing their own pay rises than supporting the people who actually keep the store running. Shifts are severely understaffed, with as little as two people expected to manage long queues that stretch through the aisles. The warehouse is consistently overcrowded, leading to poor stock rotation and items going out of date. Some cashiers and managers are genuinely pleasant, but many display rude or impatient behaviour, which creates a tense working environment. While there are a few reasonable managers, others can be quite cunning and manipulative. There are situations where loopholes are exploited for personal benefit, and staff can be unfairly set up to take the blame, putting their jobs at risk. Overall, this workplace lacks transparency, fairness and basic respect for its employees. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a healthy or supportive work environment.
