Pros

Systems are easy to work on the tills. 10% discount for staff

Cons

There is a real lack of professionalism in all sectors of the business. Management does not seem to understand it's role properly and does not treat it staff fairly. The company often hires people aged under 18 as they can pay them less and give them more hours, most contracts are around 8 hours a week and getting overtime can be a real struggle and often comes down to if you are liked more than someone else. Senior staff members often put unnecessary pressure on staff when it comes to up sales threatening disciplinary action and on a daily basis will say things such as "the manager is watching" to scare staff. The final issue is that management does not allow staff to make announcements to say when the store is closing/closed which causes a lot of annoyance with people getting buses home and so on, whilst not being paid for the time after their shift should have ended.
