Pros
Great people in operations; decent pay if you work in the corporate office
Cons
a lot of Low Priced, Technically Acceptable contract wins which means low pay. The benefits are horrible, yet HR keeps trying to push that they are competitive; they are for sure not. The HR department leaves much to be desired - they often tell us no on pretty much every single thing we want to do, yet they themselves do the same things we cannot do. A department of no is no way to partner with the business. Not to mention that they hire sub-par HR employees and from what I have been told, dont value education and development within the department. which for sure adds to the reason why the business isn't as successful as it could be. since the reorganization in 2018, the business has really gone down hill. No engagement initiatives any more and the few ones we have are a far cry from the days where we used to be thanked on the regular occasion with a nice party at the Air and Space museum. Last year? NOTHING. And lets not forget the bureaucracy. Literally NOTHING can get done until every little thing is approved by every person Director and Above. Which quite literally can take months to get one small job approved.
