Unbelievable depth of capability, skills and technology lying around unused that many many companies could only dream of, incredible opportunity for growth and some fascinating work.
Cons
This company doesn't know what it is anymore and until consensus is reached it will be all over the place. At the same time it is a consulting engineering firm, a management consultancy, a products business, an outsourcer, a design agency and a little bit of a system integrator. The operations processes tries to encompass all these business models in one set of processes poorly. Senior management are not strong and tend to be drawn from the ranks of lifelong Deticans which has created an issue of groupthink. Staff engagement is poor and the focus on numbers ahead of culture has increased attrition among key staff dramatically.
