Pros

Some colleagues are nice. I have had good times here, but that's with my team directly. Outside the team has been a toxic mix of "those that have been here longest know best" and management top-downs. Experience and topic specialism is ignored.

Cons

The quality of the work is bad. There are no minimum quality standards. Expats have some support, but HR continuously messes up, to a point some colleagues were almost without a Visa. 30% ruling has some weird construction. Agreements with managers get turned over by HR without notice. Management plays closed door office politics and executes one-sided changes to your position. There is no secondary compensation (phone, lease car, end of year bonus, etc); the salary is all you're getting. If it wasn't in writing, this company will not honor it. Perks that were given get taken away or eroded over time. The salary "raises" do not keep up with inflation, which is also a way of disguising your "raise" is not actually a raise, but a token effort of increasing the net salary, without actually meeting market inflation. The culture is dominated in a top-down fashion from "management" (aka bosses), who preache openness and inclusion, ownership by teams and individuals, but only when it suits them. Especially for expats: don't. For others, also: don't.
