Pros
Having an open office makes it simple for those who wish to develop to approach the right people. There is a keen sense of accomplishment demonstrated by employees when a job is well done and praise is offered without the need for encouragement or direction.
Cons
A stronger sense of community across the business is needed and this needs to flow from the top. "Us vs Them" should no longer exist. There is also ample opportunity to grow the business in various ways, however it seems apparent that these are not necessarily being channelled in the appropriate areas. Communication and honesty is key.
