      Awful planning system - Machinery Surveyor BES Group Employee Review

      Pros

      Pay and overtime are the only benefits, albeit for a 9 hr day which is effectively 1 hr unpaid overtime compared to the 8hr day which is standard across the industry

      Cons

      Terrible planning system that results in plenty of overtime due to surveyors leaving one after another. Due to this, experience is shockingly low, recruits coming in a steady stream for the armed forces, then leaving within 2 yrs. As soon as an opportunity arises I'll be leaving. Would never recommend anyone I know to take up a position as a Surveyor here despite the pay.

      Nice offices Great people Excellent perks and benefits

      Cons

      Lack of progress and development for certain roles unless you’re of significant value to the business. The electrical division are a sickening, sycophantic sales engine who will sell their souls for a purchase order and do anything to win a new contract.
