This is a company that claims to be a consulting firm, and probably has a few permanent staff, but operate heavily as an agency. They placed me at a client and immediately I had problems with their management of the contract. After an invoice is raised at the end of the month, the payment is held for a full month before it is paid. This may well be fine for a consulting firm's permanent staff who get paid independently of the projects they invoice for, but it matters much more for a contractor. Additionally, the management of my role was non-existant with the only interaction being an anonymous timesheeting and invoicing routine every month. When I had accepted the role, there was a delay of almost a month before I started, so I had to cut the the contract short due to a prior end date. This then led to a deduction for my invoiced amount of work for my month of work. This is not the first agency I have worked through for a contract, but is by far the worst. I would not recommend them to anyone, either to work as a contractor, or as a client.
