Pros

Working with BOS framework is not only GREAT but it’s FUN. Reason…you are heard by all; your ideas are welcomed, and you are recognized for your ideas. Team at BOS is supportive and amazing… including our CEO, filled with knowledge and an amazing personality… that inspires all. “Say what you do; Do what you say”, philosophy is implemented in the organization. Culture is great. The work life balance is amazing. Newcomers are welcomed with Open arms, provided with right guidance and appropriate trainings, so that their potential can be reaped, a win-win situation for both, Growth opportunities are infinite…. A long list to go on & on…….

Cons

I won't be saying cons....but an area of improvement....... Being a startup, processes are defined, but at times (during deliveries) the focus shifts from process implementation. This needs to be improved.

Pros

As an engineer, you get to work against business outcomes and work at the top of your value chain. You learn a ton and get to work on multiple technologies and a variety of products. You don't always find a pure tech-product company in Nashville! Working at BOS allows you to think outside the box and outside the "usual way of building software".

Cons

Ill-suited for somebody that is not entrepreneurial, is looking for clearly-defined requirements and easy deadlines.

Pros

Cloud Software that's attractive. Low but decent pay.

Cons

Top management shows a preference for one female employee, which increases mistrust of fair treatment. They uses team meetings as venting forums rather than sharing and coordinating company activities. A culture of fear developed due to bad management practices for several years. There is no clear BOS product vision. Engineers are chastised when product falls short of customer promises. Engineers don't make customer promises. Customer success team should be practical when selling projects to customers.
