Pros

The CEO, Scott Francis, seems like a good person, and there are a number of wonderful people who work there. I appreciated the option to work in-office, hybrid or remotely.

Cons

After leaving a company where I worked for seven years and accepting a pay decrease in exchange for what I hoped would result in further professional development, I was laid off after four months due to "budget cuts." When I came aboard, the marketing department was in turmoil. I was prevented from doing the job I had been told I was hired to do, and management seemed incapable of communicating the direction they wanted to go regarding their rebranding efforts. I was praised in private, criticized (harshly) in public, and yelled at during Zoom calls. Questions often went ignored, and constructive criticism was non-existent. I was also asked to work for free before my official start date due to the company needing to meet some tight deadlines, and that's not a red flag I'll be overlooking anytime soon.
