Technically skilled people are often not recognized. - Lack of technical experts among leads. Not suitable for someone who is passionate about technology. - Poor project management and need to work on weekends and holidays without comp offs or additional pay. Work-Life balance is pretty much screwed up because of this. - No onsite opportunities.
