Pros

I previously worked for EE Ltd that was bought out by BT Group. When it was EE, it was the best job I had ever held. EE were very innovative and forward thinking. Making change and progressing was straight forward and welcomed. EE trusted their staff and treat you like adults. Once bought by BT and changes were implemented, it was clear we were just a staff number doing a job. You couldn't go to your manager with an idea, you weren't listened about your job, all EE IT processes were removed and replaced with BT processes, even though they didn't fit how EE works. It was a shame and the reason I left.

Cons

Used to be a relaxed, self managed policy of when you came in the office. I would go in minimum 2 days a week, but some days more, some days less, just how it worked out. BT lied around a new hybrid working policy when building a new BT office. Through all planning and roll out of the new hybrid better workplace program alongside a new office (2yr long process), they said it would be 2 days in the office mandatory and then 3 days choice of home working or office working. Once they actually built the new office in Bristol and rolled out the program, it was minimum 4 days in the office and only 1 day a week working from home. I'd already moved house 18 months before.
