Pros
As one person said on indeed.com, it beats prostitution. The casual dress code is nice.
Cons
Too many to list, but I'll try to give a sample: 1) Morale is low and turnover is high. People are always quitting or getting fired for silly reasons. 2) Benefits are bad. How many places do you know that don't 401k match? They don't make up for it in salary bonus or vacation time either. The pay is bad too. They pay attorneys like paralegals and paralegals like fast food workers. 3) There is no room for growth. There are a few long term managers who can do no wrong but the last time they created new management positions they hired from outside instead of promoting. The August 11 review is just wrong. 4) Management wont respect you. When a new person parked in one of the partners spaces by accident, she called a tow truck, and then sent a email mocking and telling the person to "run forest run" to there car before the tow truck came. The attorneys are jerks but its probably because there miserable too. Everyone is always getting yelled at by someone. 5) If the August 11 "review" is right and there are distinct goals and expectations for employees, then they should probably tell that to the employees. There's no direction or training and you only find out that you were supposed to do something when you get yelled at for not doing it. If you cant figure out your job on your own you will probably get fired. 6) They play favorites big time. There are two sets of rules. Your either the in crowd and are best friends with management or your a bug to them.
