Incompetent middle management; who are more focused on telling people how important they are than helping their team out. Inexperienced HR team who will turn on you with blatant lies if you raise any concern because they appear to have no legislative knowledge or experience and an Upper Management who will turn a blind eye to the reality of what is actually happening on their watch, whilst still telling anyone who will listen how great a workplace it is. They advertise that they won ‘best employer’ after forcing all their staff to vote for them (I know; I was one of them!); but in reality the only thing they care about is external image and profit. Expect to work very long hours in order to get your job done - late nights; weekends; called on your holidays- for no extra remuneration. They love to quote “time in lieu’ with no follow through.
