      Pros

      It is a wonderful part-time job. The company offers great incentives including a trip to Japan for the top employees. I also feel like I am directly positively affecting the lives of young people in Japan. I also choose my hours and work only when I can. The managers are super cool too!

      Cons

      The pay is meager unless you treat it as a full-time job. Also, due to the time difference between Kenya and Japan, most of the work comes in the middle of the night. It is difficult to meet high targets without sacrificing healthy sleep patterns.

      Pros

      - Some members of management are empathetic and supportive. - Exposure to a large development team and diverse technology stacks - People seem good and friendly

      Cons

      - No additional benefits except salary and partially subsidized lunch. Salary is mediocre though. Salary review is not regular too. - "Oiling/Bhaaaiiii/Bhaiyaaaa culture" is very visible — promotion and perks depend more on flattery than performance. - No proper knowledge-sharing or learning initiatives — mostly work, work, and more work. Almost all projects are typical boring projects. - No structured career growth framework, mentorship, or professional development. - Less flexibility. WFH is mostly allowed on weekends and after/before office hours 🥴 slight late arrival often penalized
