      'Like' family but not family - Operations Badger Mining Employee Review

      Pros

      Good on paper. The benefits were great.

      Cons

      You don't have a boss. Instead you have 4 or 5 'coaches'. If something goes awry expect ti get chewed out by at least 2 coaches for the same thing. Racism is rampant and there were two acts of violence while i was employed there. The worst company i have ever had the misfortune of working for.

      Pros

      Badger has a unique culture that offers Associates flexibility in their schedules no matter the role in they play. The Associates also have created a family like atmosphere - people enjoy working with each other, they have their backs, they know each other personally. And, the family who own Badger is tremendously generous with 100% paid health and dental insurance and profit sharing.

      I personally have no cons.

      Pros

      Great wages and benefits and work-life balance. Management finally seems focused after having too many leaders.

      They are in a tough market and I am not sure how long it will last. Makes morale tough
