Pros

I had the pleasure of working at Bailey Nelson for 2.5 years, and it was truly a fantastic experience. The work environment is supportive, collaborative, and built around a hybrid model that encourages flexibility and work-life balance. The people are what make Bailey Nelson exceptional—smart, kind, and always willing to help each other grow. I had the opportunity to work with a great boss who led with clarity and respect, and there was always room for personal and professional development. The company fosters innovation and is constantly evolving, always open to new ideas and better ways of doing things. Bailey Nelson isn't just a great place to work—they also offer incredible products. Their glassware is stylish, high-quality, and backed by remarkable customer service that truly sets them apart in the industry. If you're looking for a workplace that values people, embraces change, and prioritizes excellence, I couldn’t recommend Bailey Nelson more highly.

Cons

The only downside, from a personal perspective, was that I wasn’t able to grow into a management role during my time there, simply because there wasn’t a need for it at the time. This wasn't a reflection on the company itself, but rather a matter of timing and structure.

Pros

Free glasses (1 per quarter for casuals, x2 for PT/FT employees) No uniform It can be fun when it’s quiet

Cons

Scammy deals we have to promote (“free” multifocals?? More like “$100 off” multifocals unless you get the bad ones as it is those ones that are free - bc they’re $100. It feels wrong). Always being made to upsell even when the customer doesn’t really need it “No uniform” and say they allow “self expression” but has a dress code that doesn’t make sense - what do you mean I can’t show my shoulders or my knees because we are a “healthcare” setting? Why are we being paid under the “retail” award then? Can be stressful during busy periods
