Pros

CEO is a friendly, intelligent guy who really cares about his employees at a surface level. PTO, benefits, pay average at best. Free pilates classes and discount on equipment. Casual dress code

Cons

TOXIC MANAGEMENT. I've never been treated lower than as an employee at Balanced Body. I worked with the sales team and the three managers in charge run the department miserably. Examples: Phone lines need to be open so someone was always live and available to take customer calls, even though we checked our voicemails often. Wave goodbye to your friend as you take your lunch shift. At one point, the warehouse was infested with cockroaches and water bugs. No one in management cared and they were literally EVERYWHERE. Sales managers offered/threatened the sales team to work holidays in order to get their commission, forcing team members away from their families in order to answer phones for early black friday sales and keep their pay. We had a rule implemented from the main sales manager called the 60 second rule - we were not allowed to talk to our fellow coworkers about things unrelated to work for longer than 60 seconds or we would get in trouble. Talk about being treated like preschool kids. These are just a few examples. Our sales team was an awesome group of people and everyone hated management. Turnover was constant.
