CONSTANT RESTRUCTURING --- In my short 12 months at Bambee I have seen 3 layoffs. That is almost one every quarter. 3 months prior to each layoff, the CEO announces a company pivot that will make us worth one billion dollars and hires dozens of new employees. 3 months later they are all gone and the CEO blames another leader in the company, announces another pivot that came to him as a "vision," and the viscous cycle starts again. At each announcement the CEO also blames the economy. Even with tech not doing well, what other tech company do you know hires in masses and then lays off staff every FOUR months for a year?
YOU WILL NOT EARN YOUR COMMISSIONS --- Goals are not set based on history or data. They are set based on what the CEO needs them to be to achieve fake results he promises investors. In the last 6 months, only 2 sales reps have consistently hit goal. TWO. Do not be fooled by the promise of high pay if it is based on commissions. Lead flow became so low and targets so impossible that there was a physical altercation between two sales reps on the sales floor. Our team is a chaotic and revolving door. Do not leave your current job for a sales role at Bambee.YOU WILL NOT HIT TARGET. You will not make what they promise.
INCOMPETENT LEADER DRIVEN BY EGO --- Despite a great mission on paper it is clear the CEO does not know how to build a real company. He only cares about the perception of success and not his customers or employees. Do not be fooled. I was sold an enticing vision prior to joining but the CEO only actually cares if he looks good and the company is worth one billion. Product and people are a distant second and third. Major decisions are made based on his mood and the random thought he had the night before. He does not take feedback or direction. Wins are his but losses are always yours. Regardless of your years of experience or success in your role, prepare to be micromanaged. Even worse prepare to be abused if he is having a bad day or uncertain of his own plan.
