Pros
Culture, culture, culture. The benefits are above average. Annual raises (if you perform well). The company has and continues to be all about its employees. The pay is fairly competitive but could be better. The culture & benefits outweigh that for most, including me. Bamboo is very financially stable, which creates a lot of trust within the organization. The product is beautiful. The dev team that creates it is gifted. It’s easy to sell and market a product you’re passionate about. And it’s easy to be passionate about it. The negative Glassdoor reviews I read are slightly comical. You can tell people are hurt because getting let go of a company that truly cares about its employees is, indeed, painful. If you get let go for underperforming, you had warnings. If it’s for harassment, you probably got away with it for far too long. I’ve witnessed it for years, and ultimately, Management is AWESOME at handling these types of scenarios.
Cons
There are some toxic people that they just won’t let go. Multiple complaints, multiple issues, difficult to get the work done, because of particular people. Not sure if Bamboo is scared of social media implications from this individual or what, but some individuals Can hurt the environment quite a bit. You ask anybody at BambooHR who the toxic team would be if there was one, and people instantly know.
