Pros
Bosses are nice and appreciative of your work. The colleagues are capable, innovative and helpful. Technology is modern and constantly updating. Product is fun and addictive. Zero politics and buracracy. Ideas and improvements are welcomed regardless of your job title. Have an idea, hack something out and the next day it can become a new feature in the product. Every team is very lean and most people are competent enough to take on multiple roles in the firm. There's so much to do and even more to learn, you will gain 3 years worth of working experience from working 1 year in Bambu.
Cons
Too many banks and fund houses want to use Bambu's product because it is too good, thus, projects are coming in much faster then resources can be hired. Because of that, commercial guys need to pick and choose clients carefully, having to reject a lot of prospects, this lead to fustration among those that got rejected, it is like starring at a candy that you can't eat. Delivery and product team need to work extra hard to fulfill all the project requirements so that the wait list can be shorten. It's hard to find another job after Bambu because it's impossible to find a better than job than this. Easy to gain weight due to the free flow of beer and whiskey, Friday buffet lunches and a never ending supply of popcorn, chips, sweets and coffee.
