Pros
- It's a stable job in this economy. Very unlikely to do a layoff. - Modern tech stack with Go and React - Flexible working hour (07:00-18:00, 9 hours) - Incremental annual pay increase - Decent benefits similar to other banks, especially regarding loans
Cons
- Management got so much worse after the rebrand to OCBC Indonesia with more SG influence at the top - Full WFO - No overtime pay - Low bonus rates compared to other banks - Lack of actual parking space despite full WFO, employees that don't get parking space are sent to park at a nearby university's parking space - Need to pay to park at your own office with hourly rate - A lot of office politics and blame game - Often times the IT team feels more like a startup culture wise in a bad way. So many impromptu things and sudden projects - Very hard to actually get promoted, company would much rather hire from outside than promote from inside - Located in an area with high living cost, even the canteen foods are pretty pricey
