Pros

Social events are beginning to return, which helps to break down department boundaries. Social clubs help to build a community feeling. Nice office and location. Onsite canteen and friendly catering team Good pension contribution

Cons

Poor training/mentoring. Promised coaching and development but have been neglected by manager to date, while learning & development infrastructure appears to be lacking. Poor morale amongst team, not helped by toxic leadership style. Not the team approach I was sold, seems manager takes ownership of positive outcomes without acknowledging contribution from colleagues. Increasingly regular occurance of demoralising and dismissive commentary in front of colleagues, as well as stereotypical commentary regarding ones own background Sexist comments received from more experienced employees regarding future promotions coming about purely as a result of gender Compensation could certainly be better, particularly for the hours required and acceptance of hostile commentary Wfh deemed as holidays and not productive - seems to be more of a generational divide on this topic. Iniatives like ''Summer fridays'' promoted for wellbeing, and volunteering days only seem to be relevant for the select few
