Learned useful skills like handling large sums of money, balancing store counts, processing paperwork for vehicle registration and title, git my notary seal

Cons

Schedule. Had to work weekends and holidays new employees always have to close and work weekends, employees who have been there the longest and managers get first dibs on morning shift and weekends off.

Just the nice co-workers that they do have. The long time sweet customers.

Cons

Some customers are rude. They only care about the employees who have been there a long time. New employees always quit because of the way they are treated. Some managers at different locations force you to work OT, 6 days a week and even over nights even if you didn’t agree to that when you first applied. Managers favor who they like & discipline you as if you were their own children. You can’t say anything to upper management because they literallt tell you “YOU WORK for Barr management, Barr Management doesn’t work for you”. They don’t care about losing employees. You work long hours & somedays even have to work alone even if it’s busy. They treat you less than if your young. All the older tellers are just bitter. ABSOLUTELY NO ROOM TO GROW WITHIN THE COMPANY. HARD TO REQUEST ANY DAYS OF EVEN IN MONTHS ADVANCED because so many locations are understaffed from so many people quitting due to poor management.
