Higher-up's decisions are incomprehensible, they rather keep incompetent and unsuitable managers and let their horrible behavior impact other departments like mine than to replace them. For what I've seen, if you're someone with actual talent they will overwork you or undervalue you in order to "protect" others due to favoritism. They also lack transparency and constantly mislead their employees.
